BIOGRAPHY

Rob has a Ba (hons) degree specializing in keyboard performance. from the Academy of Contemporary Music and a Masters degree from Waterbear. He has
studied under Brian Henry (Soul 2 Soul, Eternal, Gabrielle, Mica Paris), Tobi Drummond (Cliff Richard,
West End) and Sandi Beale (One direction) among others. He undertook the
degrees to expand his musical knowledge and be able to become a more diverse musician.


Rob’s most recent engagement has been as musical director for a 
production of Oh Romeo at the Electric Theatre Guildford. Within his role as MD he created the backing tracks used in the rehearsals, transposed songs to enhance coached the vocalists’ performances and arranged to song arrangements in addition to scoring the production.


Rob began playing live in 1997 when he began work with Kitty Hudson performing with
them until 2003. In that time he recorded two albums and toured internationally with the band.
During this time he also begun work with the artist Dirty Harry collaborating and performing with
her. He is currently preparing to release a new album with his collaborator Suzanne Dinsmore.


Rob has worked regularly at the Edinburgh international fringe festival appearing in musicals
such as Little shop of horrors, The Addams family, Avenue Q among others. He has also worked in
cabaret and theater as well as performing alongside comedians such as Vikki Stone, Sara Pascoe and
Phil Jupitus in comedy shows. He has so far made over 200 appearances at the Gilded Balloon. Many
of the productions he performed in transferred to London and toured.
In his years of performing he has been blessed to appear alongside artists including Slash
(Guns n’ roses, velvet revolver), Joe Bonamassa (Black Country Communion, solo), Bad Company, Big
Country, The Darkness and Sheryl Crow. He has performed at venues such as the Starr Inn,
Shepherds Bush Empire, Brixton Academy, as well overseas venues such as The Bataclan, Camden
Underworld, Paradiso and CBGB’s among numerous others.
